A.A & S.R Engagement Session ♥

This was a super fun photo session for me because I was photographing a classmate, and his wife to be. I never was all that close to my class generally, but I still think of them and care about them as if they were relatives in my family. Its always fun to hear about what my class mates are doing now that we are all grown up and out of highschool, so to hear that Adam had found his wife to be, and was awesome! Better yet, knowing they were both loving and serving the Lord in their relationship!

 When I got an email requesting to take a few photos I was so excited! Shawna works in the line of photography herself, so she was of course a natural when it came to being the one infront of the camera lens. Adam did well too! Ha-ha. I had a great time getting to know Shawna and the truely wonderful person she is. I wish them well as they are preparing for their wedding, and future life together.

Little Miss { A }

I have only met little Avery a handful of times in her life, but I was best friends with her aunties, and have known her daddy and grandparents many years, so it was an interesting experience working with her. Her grandma asked me if I would photograph her while she was up visiting, and I jumped at the opportunity to photograph her! She is such a doll.

She is very photogenic even if she wasn't too fond of me. :)

I had the hardest time stopping with just these three! So many cute photos to choose from!

NEW* Hair Piece Props

So I decided to get creative...or try my luck with it anyway. I was desperately desiring some cute hair pieces for Joslyn, and Kylyn, that could also be used as props for Photography.

I had looked at other places that made, and sold them, and decided that maybe I would try my luck at it myself! So I made a quick trip to Grand Forks, and found a few things. I wanted to do it ASAP because I had a photoshoot the following day with a little girl about 2 years old. I got cracking and was up a few hours of that night dedicating my time to making these hair pieces. I think they turned out super cute, and I can not wait to use them!

I have head bands, and hair pieces. Some of the headbands have flowers attached to them, most of the headbands have hair clips clipped onto them. I made the flowers and bows with clips so they are interchangeable. In the photos below you will see Kylyn, my oldest, wearing a few clips in her hair alone without the headband,but they can also be work with a headband as well. I love them with this versatile feature! Kylyn doesn't care much for wearing headbands, but she does like clips, so this works well.

If All The Raindrops Were Lollypops and Gumdrops

My sweet, sweet three year old. I love her to bits and pieces. She isn't fond of having her photo taken, but when she cooperates, its a wonderful thing. These photos were taken Easter Sunday. I had planned to take some of my 9month old little girl as well, but her mood turned sour quickly, and the cool wind picked up, so we decided to post pone it.

Her smile just brightens my day.
