1st Birthday

Past Due by only a year and a half. *hand slap* Bad Mommy! 

I finally got around to having a day with no husband, no kids, and NOTHING to do...haha. What better to do then to send out a model session, and edit my baby girl, Joslyn's, 1st Birthday Party pictures?!?! Unfortunately, Joslyn turned 2 Aug 5th 2012, sooo Im a little late. Better late then never, ever...

 I loved her cake, made from scratch---ok, it was from a box, by me. I designed it, and decorated it, and tinted the frosting till my kitchen was red! When it was all said and done I thought it was so cute! I brought her a onsie to "ruin" eating her birthday cake. It was all worth it. :)

K.T.C Candid

This kid is super close to my heart. I love this little guy like crazy. I love taking pictures of him too!! I have been baby sitting him this week while his daycare lady is out due to surgery, so I figured I should take some candid pictures of him, just playing and moving around like he does without the posing and propping etc. I love capturing REAL life as it happens the most. Its capturing  memories, relationships, personalities, and life unfolding as it does and stopping it in time, for those people to look back on and be right back in that moment. Aww.... Photography ♥  Tehehe  :) 

This is one of my favorites from the few days I took pictures while this sweet baby played and rolled about. The little details about your baby are the things you miss ALOT when they are grown. My dear Kylyn is turning 5 this year, and its crazy the things I never thought I would miss but DO! One of them is baby's perfect chunky fingers that can grasp your finger oh so gentle...or hair, or lips, or nose or face and attempt to tear it off as a tasty (?) treat. Love the small things. ♥

 He sits now, and that was something I was going to make sure I captured! 

 He has the sweetest face, and features. 

Does this kid have the most amazing eyes or what? Loved taking pictures of him just playing. :0) 

 He was studying Joslyn's way of playing, and taking it very seriously...

THIS is awesome, his smile quite closely resembled that of his older cousin Avery when she was little.

Avery and Baby Q

Love these cuties! Had fun taking pictures of my friends grandchildren, Avery and Quentin, down in Morris. We had fun running around the park coaxing Avery into laughing, posing, smiling, and yes even swinging. She's a ham though once you get her started. Baby Q, was easy to photograph, has to be one of the silliest baby boys I have met. Hes all smiles for the most part. Enjoy these smiling faces! 

 Towards the end of the session this little guy was thinking it was nap time, not picture time. His bottom lip pout was too adorable to not photograph.

 By this time both Avery and Baby Q had grown tired of photos, but even with pouting faces they were adorable.

Hanson Family Session

I have had the honor of photographing this beautiful family now a few times, and each time is super fun! The Hanson's daughters are beautiful, and its not too hard to see where they get their beauty after you see their mommy and daddy! I thoroughly enjoy photographing them. Its always fun to see how different they are becoming as they grow, but its not hard to tell they are sisters! What fun!

Happy Birthday my Ladybug Princess

These were taken on her REAL Birthday, so knowing my, I'll probably do another post of her actual birthday party and decorations! So Excited!

My baby girl turned one the beginning of August, and it was an emotional week. A year ago she was said to not have much of a chance to meet her big sister, or to see her room, or to come home to her big loving family. The situation was bleak and hope seemed to dissipate as her health did. Her daddy and I held strong to the Lord as we watched our baby girl struggling to stay alive. Something amazing happened though....hundreds of people from all over the place fell to their knees in prayer over our little baby girls life. A undeniable sense of peace washed over my husband and I. We realized that although we were concerned for our baby girl, worrying ourselves sick was not going to make her heal, not going to stabilize her, it was not going to hold her hand, do us or do her any good. It only was a hindrance. Thankfully our ever present Lord took our fear and replaced it with abundant peace. So much so, people were becoming alarmingly concerned for us as we seemed almost in denial of our daughters failing condition. We knew perfectly well it was serious, and that she may not come home. We also knew we could give our fears, our worries, and our cares to the Lord, and trust Him to do what is best.

Today we have a baby girl who walks, falls, crawls, and walks some more. Shes smiley as can be, has quite the personality, and is my miracle. She shouldn't be here, and yet God proves to still preform some amazing miracles on a daily basis! She is mine.

{K} Hanson Family

I had never formally met {K} before our photoshoot, but I'm glad to have met her and her family.

Her and her husband to be live with their daughter not too far from my home town, so it was a convenient session as far as location. I loved getting to know them, and playing with their little girl while trying to snap a few shots of her. {S} unfortunately wasn't so fond of the camera, and wasn't in the "happiest" mood that day, so I came back another day to try again with her! The 2nd time was the charm!

3 Little Princesses

I adore the Levenhagen family of now 5. Their family recently grew with the addition of a sweet little baby girl this year. What a blessed family they are! I enjoy meeting with them to take photos because of the warm spirit they carry in action and word. I enjoy their daughters laughter, and beautiful smiles so much I just couldn't get enough. They are such a wonderful family to have around, and I'm excited to see their little family grow, and change. How beautiful is the glory of the Lord shinning through His children!

Note: For some odd reason my photos are looking very under saturated or dull when I post on my blog, so the colors are actually brighter then how they may appear right now. Sorry about that!
